The West Vale Branch of the Wilts & Berks Canal Trust is working to restore the canal to a navigable standard between Uffington and Swindon.

We hold meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at Shrivenham bowls club. Work parties are usually organised for the following Saturday. We have recently taken delivery of an unwanted Vodafone site cabin and have furnished it with luxury oil drums and fence posts to make a very satisfactory bench. The unequalled site facilities are further enhanced by the provision of a gas heater.
