the end of the day everything was ready for the laying of scalpings - as you
can see below. Scalpings are only being laid over the dam - the ground in
the copse is firm enough without them.

was one other person on the work party - Alan. Here are some photos of what
Alan got up to.

Apart
from laying scalpings we have to move our blue box from its current location
on top of the bank (where it was left after the disaster of February 2001) to the
cleared area below - without lifting equipment. But there's nothing that can't be achieved with enough
brute force and ignorance.
